Regardless how much you wish to avoid, how much u wanna live in denial..

Lets face it, SG is a materialistic world.

Everyone judge everyone, on how big is their cars, how big is their house, how many credit cards you have, whether u have the power to spend money, and how you live your life.

Especially man.

Man tends to pick girls up easier.. if they have a car.

Man tends to be judged at.. whether they are willing to spend or not.

Thats how they world goes round.. unfortunately.

Yes, man always scream, and shout that us woman are.. materialistic. we are "bloody suckers", we always.. “吊起来卖”。。

Even.. mother's who has.. daughters. Will judge the bfs.. whether they drive.. whether they earned.. whether they can support their daughter.

Mothers will always be mothers. they want the best for their daughter. Making sure that they will not suffer in the hands of others.

Alot has asked.. why did i make that one decision.. to get myself into debt for my new toy when i could easily.. get a guy who has a car.. to chauffeur me around.

And i just replied.. "We live in a materialistic world."

Rather than depending on others.. why dun i just get it and work hard for it, i replied.

Yes, it would be nice. to have a guy that has a car. but.. look deeper. it also means.. a man with debts.

I do came across.. some people. Who force themselves to get a car, when they already have a huge debts on hand.. who.. spends like nobody's biz.. and just pay off the debts bit by bit monthly. Letting the amount roll.. and roll.. and roll.. at an interest of 2% monthly. (CC 24% yearly)

I dun look down on them.. but .. i just feel that they are not responsible enough for their own life.

A woman.. should never.. never.. be with a man who doesnt know how to handle money. (i would rather... he smokes, and drinks.. then gamble) Thats what i feel.. Looking at examples around me..

How.. she suffered.. and save.. just to pay off.. her husband's debts from gambling.

How her husband.. had to run off and hide.. in malaysia living behind his wife and kids who constantly being harassed by the money lenders.

Where his kids had to lie to everyone who calls up the house. (taught to lie at a tender age. woohoo. nice)

Money is one of the main issues.. why divorce rates are these high.

Money is always the issues between family disputes.

Money issues is always.. the one that kills.. alot of people.

If you say.. money is not important. then i would tell you, enjoy living in denial. Lets see when you will wake up.

Its not.. that i'm materialistic.

Its in everyday's news.. money, problems, disputes. Alot choose to read and delete.

While i.. read and remember.

I just knew a little too much.. due to the surrounding i am being exposed to. I learn and see from each and everyone beside me.

And they will always tell me.. "Look carefully, dun end up like me".

Its scary. But lets face it.

We live in a materialistic world, where money make the world goes round.

Earn and save more while u still can before than rainy days come.

I do have a pal, who said "dun assume the rainy days will come. Make sure there's no rainy days in yr life thats all"

I dun really agree.

For.. you can control yr life. But you cannot control the world that controls yr life.

U can be a billionaire overnight, u can also be a bankruptcy in hours.

Thats how..... volatile money is.

U can have alot in split seconds. U can lose them all... in split seconds too, if u do not know how to handle it.

Many times.. humans just do not know how to handle sudden windfalls.

and many times.. humans will always abuse the money that they have just by spending on unnecessary items.

I dun deny, i'm one of them. Who shops like crazy when its pay day, and cries when its month end.

I'm trying to change. it takes time.

But at least.. i'm waking up.
